PM Awas Yojana 2024
Originally named the Indira Awas Yojana, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a welfare initiative crafted by the Indian government to address the housing needs of the rural underprivileged. Expanding on this model, the government introduced the urban counterpart in 2015, with a completion target set for 2024. The aim of launching the 2023-24 phase of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is to ensure housing availability for all by the year 2024.
The PM Awas Yojana, initiated in 2015, stands as the government’s flagship affordable housing scheme. With a bold mission to achieve “Housing for All” by 2022, this scheme has become a transformative force in reshaping the housing sector, emphasizing accessibility, affordability, and inclusivity in housing solutions.
