Laptop Sahay Yojana 2024 :- Laptop Sahay Yojana 2024: Gujarat government has launched a scheme to benefit the poor and needy students living in Gujarat. The name of this scheme is Laptop Sahay Yojana. In this scheme the state government will provide free laptops to all students. Some poor students living in the state could not attend online lectures due to lack of laptops. That’s why Gujarat government will provide free laptops to all needy students in Gujarat.
Laptop Sahay Yojana 2024: Eligibility for Laptop
- Student should be a resident of Gujarat.Laptop Sahay Yojana 2024:
- Candidates/Students belonging to SC category will benefit from the scheme.
- You must have breed certificate.
- Applicant’s age should be in between 18 – 30 years.
- Students applying for the scheme should have studied till class 12th.
- None of the applicant’s family should be in Government’s service.
- Its annual income is Rs. 1,20,000 should not exceed. If you live in an urban area it is Rs. Should not exceed 1,50,000.
- Residence in the state of Gujarat is mandatory for the students.

- A certificate confirming the applicant’s membership in the tribe is required.
- The eligible age limit for students is 18 to 30 Years.
- The student must have minimum educational qualification of 12th class.

- The maximum annual family income of the applicants should not exceed Rs. 1,20,000/- and those living in urban areas must ensure that their income does not exceed Rs. 1,50,000/-.

- Under this scheme, assistance will be provided to students to purchase laptops at an interest rate of only 6%.
- Each beneficiary has to repay this loan in 60 installments.
- If you do not repay the loan within the stipulated time, apart from the 6% interest, you will have to pay an additional 2.5%.
- This laptop will have accounting, statistics and GST software pre-installed absolutely free.
- Under this scheme, loans up to Rs 1,50,000 will be available for purchase of laptops or related devices.
- 10% of the loan should be given to the beneficiary, if you buy a laptop worth Rs 40,000.
- So the government will give 80% of it i.e. 32,000 rupees and you have to pay 8,000 rupees i.e. 20%.
- Tribal Development Department provides useful schemes for Scheduled Tribes.
- Under this scheme, a total loan of Rs 1,50,000 is given to purchase a computer or laptop.
- The beneficiary student has to repay 10% of the loan amount.
- The applicant has to repay the loan obtained in 20 quarterly installments including interest.

The Gujarat state government is offering a scheme to finance the purchase of a new laptop up to Rs. Rs. 1,50,000/- will be given. This Laptop Sahay Yojana 2024 provides 80% of the amount for the laptop to the student while the remaining 20% amount has to be paid by the student.
This amount will allow the student to buy a high-quality laptop as the price of a laptop can go up to around Rs. 15,000/- and up to Rs. 1,50,000/- nowadays. As technology is advancing, the demand for laptops and mobiles has increased. Unfortunately, with the current lockdown, students are in dire need of these devices for education. To tackle this problem, the Gujarat government has implemented the Laptop Sahay Yojana 2024, which provides students with Rs. 6% interest rate.
